VCN- On October 4, the Department of Financial Informatic and Statistics has officially transfered the administration and operation of the TABMIS systems for Disaster Recovery (TABMIS DR) to the State Treasury.

Attending the transferring ceremony were Mr. Dang Duc Mai- Director of the Department of Financial Informatics and Statistics, Ms. Dang Thi Thuy- Deputy Director General of the State Treasury; and Mr. Mai Cong Nguyen- General Director of FPT ERP Services of FPT Information System Company.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dang Duc Mai said that the TABMIS project marked a milestone in Finance and played an important role in the Project of public finance management reform which the Government assigned to the Ministry of Finance. After 10 years of implementation, the project has been successful and achieved positive results.
To achieve that result, with the role of the consulting agency and IT management of the Ministry of Finance, and the Department of Financial Informatics and Statistics closely collaborated with the State Treasury and other partners to manage and operate the TABMIS system.
Especially, since October 31,2013 when the State Treasury and the Department of Financial Informatics and Statistics received, managed and operated from the contractor, the implementation of the TABMIS system shows the effort of the Finance IT officers in trying to operate actively the IT system of the Finance sector.

The transferring ceremony of the administration and operation of the TABMIS system between the Department of Financial Informatics and Statistics and the State Treasury continues to mark the development of the Finance and State Treasury officers in operating technology actively. The State Treasury is the leading administrative agency to centralize operation of the TABMIS system, hence the transfer is the basis to confirm the system will operate better and more professionally in the coming time.
On the side of the State Treasury, Ms. Dang Thi Thuy expressed her desire to continue to get cooperation and support from the Department of Financial Informatics and Statistics and partners in the process of upgrading the system as well as implementing the projects in the future.
Currently, TABMIS has been applied to Financial authorities and the State Treasury at province and district level in 63 provinces nationwide and 37 Ministries, 3 departments of Hanoi with 15.000 users for management of the State budget funds in accordance with international practices.
The successful implementation of TABMIS has promoted the reform of the State budget management mechanism in shortening the time to adjust State budget to only 1 month for all budget levels, amending the process of allocating the budget and implementing payment orders, building the Diagram of accounting system and State budget accounting system in accordance with the international practices.
