VCN- According to a notice released by the Hai Phong Finance Department, from April 25, businesses are allowed to pay seaport fees at Hai Phong Port via their personal accounts at the bank.

As per Hai Phong Finance Department, currently, Vietcombank has conducted seaport fee collection online via Vietcombank InternetBanking for individual and corporate customers.
From April 25, businesses, organizations and individuals are allowed to pay seaport fees online via Vietcombank InternetBanking (via their account).
Currently, four banks implementing seaport fee collection at Hai Phong Port viathe Customs e-payment portal 24/7are Vietcombank, Vietinbank, MB and BIDV.
Vietcombank is the first bank implementing online fee collection via personal accounts.
From December 1, 2019, the fee collection at Hai Phong Port has been transferred from Hai An District to the Finance Department.
In addition to direct fee payment, competent authorities at Hai Phongencourage enterprises to pay the seaport feesvia the Customs e-payment portal 24/7.
At the beginning of 2020, to continue to perform administrative procedure reform and facilitate the business community, after coordinating between Hai Phong People's Committee and the General Department of Viet Nam Customs, from January 6, 2020, Hai Phong Cityhas implemented seaport fee collection via the Customs e-payment portal 24/7.
According to Hai Phong Customs Department, the infrastructure fee payment at Hai Phong Port via the the Customs e-payment portal 24/7 has helped automate tax/fee payments of businesses, reducing human resources and time of businesses.
