VCN – The Ministry of Finance has released a notice of the direction of Minister Dinh Tien Dung on inspecting, checking and verifying information about the bribery case of Tenma Vietnam Company.

Reports of a bribery case related to Tenma Vietnam Company (a subsidiary of Tenma Japan Company located in BacNinh Province) have been recently surfaced.
Facing this information, Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung requested the Director of the General Department of Taxation andthe General Director of the General Department of Customs to urgently report to the Ministry's leaders oncontents reflected by press agencies about doubts about the bribery of Tenma Vietnam Company before May 26.
The minister also assigned the Ministry’s Inspectorate to set up an inspection team on May 25to inspect BacNinh Tax Department, Bac Ninh Customs Department and related organizations and individuals on the contents reflected by press agencies and handle in accordance with law and then report results to the Ministry.

Previously, according to the Customs Newspaper, BacNinh Tax Department reported to the Ministry of Finance and worked with Bac Ninh Public Security on this case under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Government on May 26. The inspection records and explanatory reports of the inspection team have also been sent to the Ministry of Finance and Bac Ninh Public Security.
