Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department announces over 270 enterprises violating specialized inspection

VCN- Goods of 272 enterprises which have violated Customs management policy for goods that are permitted to be brought to the store while waiting for the results of specialized inspection, have not been permitted by Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department to bring goods to the store in accordance with the regulations.

According to Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department, the statistics of Customs units at border gates and outside border gates have shown that as of 11 May 2018, there are 272 enterprises violating Customs management policy for goods that are permitted to be brought to the store while waiting for the results of specialized inspection.

Of which, 240 enterprises are not permitted to bring goods to the store because they violated Customs management policy for goods that are permitted to be brought to the store while waiting for the results of specialized inspection, but were 30 days overdue, these enterprises have not submitted the results of specialized inspection.

26 enterprises which delayed to submit the results of specialized inspection, added the results of specialized inspection and were sanctioned administrative violation and were not permitted to bring goods to store within 6 months since the date of issuing sanction decisions, and 6 enterprises were not permitted to bring the goods to the store within 1 year.

Notably, over the past time, some enterprises took advantage of the regulations on being permitted to bring goods to the store while waiting for the results of specialized inspection, and instead, took the goods to the market for consumption and then vacated their business registration addresses.

For the above violation cases, Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department has not permitted these enterprises to bring goods to the store and announced the list of unlawful enterprises to the Customs units in the country to collaborate in handling.
