By applying this system, import and export businesses can minimize paper dossier when exchanging with shipping lines as well as the Customs authority. Thereby, reducing the burden in carrying out declaration procedures and accelerating the clearance time and saving cost.

The system has helped the Customs to closely and promptly manage and supervise the process of movement, change and status of goods in and out of ports and warehouses, as well as transportation between areas under Customs supervision, reducing costs and time for declarants. Therefore, it also strengthens the management, supervision and enhances compliance by the businesses and prevents trade fraud, smuggling and ensures national security.
