VCN- According to Long An Customs Department, as of 15th December 2017, the State revenues from post clearance audit was VND 20.15 billion, reaching 223% compared to the target assigned by the General Department of Vietnam Customs. In which, the revenue collected by Post Clearance Audit Branch was VND 19.65 billion.

Long An Customs Department said that on the basis of inspection plan determined since the beginning of the year and information collection from units in 2017, Long An Customs Department implemented 27 cases of post clearance audit. In which, 1 case was implemented at Customs head offices and 26 cases at premises of Customs declarants.
With almost all enterprises operating in the field of processing, manufacturing and exporting in the province, Long An Customs Department said that most of the enterprises’ violations which were detected by post-clearance audit were violations on management of raw materials, supplies, processed products, production for exports, leading to the actual inventory difference (surplus or deficit) compared to the dossiers of exported or imported goods. In which, many enterprises had a large amount of raw material inventory that were different.

From enterprises’ violations, Long An Customs Department issued 26 decisions on tax assessment with a total tax amount of VND 15.37 billion, 29 decisions on administrative violation with a total fine amount of VND 2,92 billion, collected VND 854.8 million of late tax payment and VND 8.4 million of tax debt.
