In the near future, in order to facilitate the activities of importing goods of enterprises, the Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department, Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghiep proposed that the Customs Branch of Saigon Port Zone 1 would cooperate with businesses using public services and conduct online recognition of specialized examination results for immediate Customs clearance.

As for the question of enterprises about the rate of redundant declarations at the end of the year usually increasing, representatives of the Risk Management Division explained that the enterprise was in good standing of Customs Law, so the imported goods of the enterprise were not subject to Customs transfer.

However, the Customs authorities shall conduct risk management, so some imported shipments will be randomly selected into the physical inspection flow. At the end of the year, the volume of imported goods was very large, so the proportion of customs declarations randomly selected in the Red Channel increased.
